A Positive Attitude Outlook, Inc. (APAO) was founded by Regana McKinney-McGee in Sacramento, California on June 6, 1988. Our organization was birthed out of a vision to start group homes for children with a history of psychological, social, and academic problems. APAO was classified as a psychological model and provided the highest level of care for their clients.
In 1990, APAO expanded and opened our first foster family agency in Sacramento County where we served over 120 children from 1990 to 1992. Since that time, APAO has opened an office in Fresno (1992); In Bakersfield (1997); in Visalia (1998). In 1998 our A Positive Attitude Outlook of Southern California office was opened in Rancho Cucamonga. Today, APAO no longer operates group homes.
APAO is a treatment facility that provides a full range of foster care service for its clients. Our foster family agency is looking for good stable, loving families to care for neglected and/or abused children newborn to 21 years of age. Training and reimbursements are also provided.
